Job Description
Pertemps are currently recruiting for Facilities Assistants (Janitors) to work with our public sector client in Edinburgh on a temporary basis.
Location - Various across Edinburgh but you must be flexible with this as you may be asked to work at a different location as required
Duration - Assignments are week by week
Hours - Monday - Thursday (Apply online only) and Friday (Apply online only)
Pay rate - £10.34 per hour
Start date - ASAP
In this role, you will be:
Providing general Janitorial services
Assist with equipment moves
Undertake manual handling tasks
Empty bins
Assist with cleaning duties (as required)
Complete H&S Risk Assessments
Carry out water / temperature checks
General maintenance
Assist with any other tasks as required
Successful candidates must have:
Excellent customer service and communication skills
An understanding of Health and Safety
Experience in a similar role
Successful candidates will be required to obtain a PVG at a cost of £59 (or £18 for an update).
