Superfast Cornwall - Inclusive Growth

Cornwall Development Company is recruiting for the ''Superfast 3 - Inclusive Growth'' project which is working with businesses in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to make best use of digital technologies.

Part-funded by the European Region Development Fund (ERDF), the project will include targeting businesses that may have been slower to adopt digital technologies, providing business consultancy and grants to assist investment in digital solutions.

Business Digital Consultant

- Starting salary £41,717 per annum
- 37 hours per week
- Fixed-term to 31 May 2023
- Homebased with office days in Pool, Redruth

We are seeking one experienced Business Digital Consultant, delivering consultancy and investment for digital solutions to SMEs, particularly targeting the SMEs that may have been slower to adopt the benefits of digital solutions.

The post-holder will have excellent communication skills, able to explain the benefits of digital opportunities to all types of SMEs, and will:

- Co-lead (with the other Digital Business Consultants) the Business Digital Support workstream (a lead may be appointed from the team at a later stage)
- Deliver 12+hr one to one support sessions to SMEs to ensure they can benefit from digital opportunities
- Assist SMEs in planning and delivering their investment in digital solutions
- Develop, facilitate and support workshop activities for groups of SMEs to explore some basic areas of digital technology
- Support the Programme Manager and Superfast Cornwall team in other workstream activity, including Business Digital Grants, Contract Management, Claims and Audit and Stakeholder Management
