About the Role:

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and talented person to support our Business Intelligence & Performance Team. As a Business Intelligence & Performance Support Officer, you will be based in the Organisational Development and Improvement Service at the Civic Centre in Harrogate.

This is an exciting time to join the Business Intelligence & Performance team as local government in North Yorkshire will be radically changing over the next few years. Harrogate will become part of a new unitary authority, and the BIP team will be supporting the Council through the implementation period.

This is the perfect role to get an introduction to the varied and complex world of local government. The BIP team work across the whole council so you can expect to learn a lot about all the services that a district council provides, from Parks to Planning, from Housing to HR. You will learn and enhance your skills in data analysis, policy research, performance management and business process improvement.

About you:

You will have strong IT skills, great verbal and written communication skills and the ability to analyse, interpret and provide recommendations on policy and data. This role would suit a recent graduate.
