Job Description

A successful and well respected SME Infrastructure Consultancy based in Central London are enjoying the next phase of their consistent growth, and requires a passionate and dedicated Ecologist to support the Practice Director and Lead Ecologist to deliver projects and services across the broader Infrastructure Sectors in the South East.
You will most likely have a background and experience in at least one or a number of business sectors (highways, rail, water, gas, electricity, renewables etc.) and have some experience of major national infrastructure projects.
The Senior Ecologist will join a well respected Environmental and Ecology consulting team, and support the Lead Ecologist managing and mentoring teams seconded into key Clients, and maintain/develop existing and potential Client relationships.
With a strong portfolio of major projects across a variety of infrastructure sectors, knowledge and experience in a client facing role would be hugely beneficial.
You will be working in all aspects of Ecology related deliverables from feasibility studies to advising across all Ecology Chapters, and designing mitigation strategies for protected species. You''ll also be managing Biodiversity Net Gain recommendations. This is a true Consultancy role, both office and field work, advising Clients on a regular basis, and supporting nationally significant projects.
