Over the last 22 years, The Green Estate CIC has developed from a community regeneration project into a successful multi-faceted social enterprise, delivering social impact through a broad range of products, services and activities. Their mission is ''to create better places to live, with nature at their heart''.

This role offers the opportunity to lead an organisation that excels in neighbourhood parks management, is a steward of a scheduled ancient monument, engages with audiences ranging from the public to the political, and manages a portfolio of successful commercial enterprises.

Their commercial activities range from landscape design and construction to green waste recycling and substrate production. Under the Pictorial Meadows brand, they deliver specialist meadow products and services across the UK and Europe. From their picturesque Sheffield HQ, they provide a broad range of visitor, educational and engagement activities, as well as managing weddings and private events.

As CEO, you will lead, develop, and challenge a Strategic Management Team to build upon their past successes and take the organisation to new heights. Providing direction, setting clear and ambitious objectives, and forging new partnerships across and beyond their sector will come naturally to you.

Interview Process

First Stage:

Which will include a structured Virtual Meeting and a chance to meet members of the team. An externally managed psychometric test and an assessment will follow.

Second Stage:

Which will include a Presentation and Interview with the Recruitment Board: Week of 18 th October
