Job Description
• Develop reliable, mission-critical Linux software for in-vehicle router products used in the emergency services
• Specify, design, and build extendible code to be used in mission-critical applications for 10+ year lifespan
• Support and maintain new and existing software throughout its lifespan
Key Skills :
• 5+ years commercial C/C++ development experience (Unix/POSIX API, open source, GNU toolchain) • Linux administration (e.g. network configuration, firewalls) to an expert level • Git and Subversion • MySQL/PostgreSQL • Node.js • Linux kernel/Linux driver development • Android Open Source Project (AOSP) • Embedded systems development and low-level hardware integration, perhaps with electronics engineering experience • Devuan Linux distribution
