Our Public Sector client has a requirement for experienced Indexers to join their team on a temporary basis for 10 weeks initially with possibility of extension. Our client has 4 positions available. This is a full time position working 09:00-17:00 working from our clients office based in Dundee.
As Indexers you will be required to work through boxes of hard copy records and index their contents onto a pre-prepared excel spreadsheet to upload into our Hard Copy Records management system. Manual handling will be required in this role in order to work through boxes containing archived information/records.
To be considered for this role applicants will have:
Experience of working with information governance or records management.
Experience of working within the social care sector (desired)
Good working knowledge of Microsoft word and excel.
Excellent organisational skills.
The ability to work on own initiative as well as within a team.
The ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
The ability to communicate with external / internal contacts at all levels
Due to the nature of this role, successful applicants must hold a valid Basic Disclosure Certificate issued within the last 12 months or be willing to apply for one.
