Job Description

Seven Education are currently looking to recruit an EYFS Teaching Assistant to work as a member of staff within an established and popular Primary school in Bow, London. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an early year''s along with up to date knowledge of the early year''s framework / national curriculum.

The role:

To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children place in the setting.
To give support to their staff within the setting.
To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn.
To build and maintain strong partnership working with parents to enable children''s needs to be met.
Key Responsibilities:

To provide a stimulating and happy environment where children can grow and learn
To actively encourage children''s learning and progress in all areas of development by interaction and extension of play activities
To work in partnership with the parents
To know and adhere to the school''s operational and safety policies and procedures
To assist the class teacher with the short, medium- and long-term planning of the EYFS curriculum
To carry out and record children''s observations in accordance with the requirements of the EYFS framework and as instructed by the class teacher
To participate in continuous professional development and training as required
To ensure that any information received concerning the children is kept confidential
To assist with the daily setting up and clearing away of all activities and equipment
To attend staff meetings. Undertake training and other events throughout the year.
Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications: Minimum L3 Early years
Experience: Previous experience in early years and knowledge of EYFS, SEN, Safeguarding Childcare Act 2006.
Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK and Enhanced DBS Update service or be willing to undertake one.
Travel: The ability to commute to and from work independently.
Hours: 8:30-16:00 Monday to Friday.
Pay: £65 - £95 per day paid via an umbrella company.
