Sen Teaching Assistant

Recruitment 4 Education are currently working with a secondary SEN School located in Walsall to help find a suitable SEN Teaching Assistant to work on long-term with the option of progressing to a permanent contract. We are looking for SEN support staff who have previous experience supporting secondary age pupils with a range of learning disabilities and difficulties including some of the following: SLD, autism and complex learning difficulties.

The role is due to start in September on a long-term contract which could progress to a permanent placement if successful in the role, so we encourage suitable candidates to apply asap.

The ideal candidate should have the following

* Recognised qualification Level 2 minimum requirement

* Enhanced DBS Certificate with both Adult and Child Workforce

* SEN Teaching Assistant Experience, minimum of 12 months'' relevant SEN Support experience

* Previous relevant experience supporting pupils with some of the following learning difficulties and disabilities including: Autism and complex needs

* Engaging with pupils in small groups and on a one to one basis

* Experience supporting secondary age pupils with learning difficulties

Excellent daily rates of pay
