Cover Supervisor

Are you a recent graduate looking to pursue a career in education?
Are you looking to gain experience in a secondary school prior to applying for a PGCE or SCITT?
Earn between up to £1600 per month whilst gaining appropriate experience in our academies and schools.
Prospero Teaching are seeking to recruit cover supervisors, core subject / graduates and aspiring teachers to work in secondary schools and academies across Sheffield.
The ideal candidate would have:
* Aspirations to become a secondary teacher in a their chosen field
* A passion for working with education and improving students'' outcomes
* Degree educated or a minimum of 1 years'' experience working with secondary aged or FE students
* An interest in gaining an insight across secondary schools and academies in Derby
The role:
* supervising work that has been set in accordance with the school policy
* managing the behaviour of pupils while they are undertaking this work to ensure a constructive environment
* responding to any questions from pupils about process and procedures
* dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school''s policies and procedures
* collecting any completed work after the lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher
* reporting back as appropriate using the school''s agreed referral procedures on the behaviour of pupils during the class, and any issues arising
