SEN 1-2-1 Learning Support Assistant
* Full-time, permanent
* Paid during the school holidays
* Mainstream Primary School
The role:
I am working with a two-form entry primary school who are seeking to appoint an SEN Learning Support Assistant to support a student with Autism. The pupil has speech and language difficulties and is using a picture exchange communication system.
Experience working with speech and language difficulties and a picture exchange communication system is desired but training can be provided.
The role will commence in October and the successful candidate will be employed by the school. The role will involve supporting the student in the classroom, ensuring that their engage positively with the lesson and the other students.
Requirements:
- SEN experience
- KS1 or Early Years experience
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Calm and nurturing demeanour
