SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT - BETHNAL GREEN - ASAP START

A Bethnal Green based primary school is looking to recruit a confident and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to start with them ASAP.

This is a full-time requirement due to start upon students having been assessed with regards which level they are up to and identifying those whom require additional support and assistance.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will report to the school''s SENCO and be given a specific cohort of pupil premium students to support within mainstream classes. The role of this SEN Teaching Assistant will include general support of students with needs such as Autism, ADHD, and general behaviour management. Intervention will also be a part of this SEN Teaching Assistant''s role supporting teachers in English and Maths lessons with opportunity to support in other subjects.

Any individuals with transferable skills of working with young people who have special educational needs (SEN) are encouraged to apply now for consideration. This role would suit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, youth worker with experience of supporting students in a school setting or a support worker who has worked with young people in the community.

* Pay will be dependent upon experience; opportunity to earn up to £85 per day

* Full time support position in a East London based primary school with a supportive network of teachers and senior leadership team

* Start ASAP

* Work within a large support team including a SENCO, Learning Support Manager and team of Teaching Assistants/Cover Supervisors

* Support specific students with special educational needs as well as providing intervention and support within the classroom supporting teachers where required
