Job Description

Twenty4seven Education is seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to work in a school in Birmingham to work full time. The school requires a mentor with experience working with disengaged students to deliver pre-planned workshops.
About the role:
* Working with groups of secondary aged students who may be at risk of exclusion.
* Deliver workshops on resilience to help reengage students with their education.
* You will be in sole control for a small class of students.
* Ideal for people seeking flexible work, as the cover for these sessions is required on an ad-hoc basis.
About the school:
* Central Birmingham based.
* The schools are easily accessible from Birmingham city centre and surrounding areas.
* Onsite Parking
* Great Senco to work with
* Within the Birmingham emision zone
About you:
To be considered for the Behaviour Mentor position, you will:
* Have previous experience working with children with a range of abilities and maybe some special education needs.
* Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
* Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
* Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
