1-2-1 Teaching Assistant
Working with a child with MLD/Autism
A Learning Support Assistant is currently needed for a Mainstream secondary School based in Birmingham 3 days a week from October. The schools mission is to promote a culture of educational excellence.
The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of level 2 in supporting and learning or a qualification that is equivalent. You will provide daily support on a one to one basis supporting with the learning of the students whilst adapting and supporting their needs.
To apply for this role you must have the following
A minimum of NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
Experience working with KS3/KS4 students that have SEND needs
Experience preparing resources for children with Visually impairment needs.
At present, the role is from 8.30-15.30 Mon - Fri on a supply basis, but there is potential for the role to go permanent for the right candidate.
