Education Commissioner - Place Planning Consultant

Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Education Commissioner - Place Planning Consultant to work in Swindon. This position is initially for a period of 6 months and is paying £350.00 per day (paid to you via an umbrella company).

The role:

The main purpose of the job is effective commissioning the aims of the Education Place Planning Team within the Commissioning Economy and Attainment section. The Section undertakes a range of planning functions, including early years, primary, secondary and special educational needs place planning, the client role for the implementation of building schemes, the delivery of education reorganisations.
The Section works closely with a number of partners and stakeholders, including schools, other Directorates both within and outside Commissioning, Delivery, Localities, Swindon Commercial Services, Council Members, Capita, the DfE and other partners.
The role involves taking a strategic view of the education organisation needs of the Council and, and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of all aspects of this service. ? Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications: A degree within a relevant field.
Experience: 1+ year of experience within a similar role.
Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. References covering the past 3 years.
Hours: 37 hours p/w.
