Logistics Co-Ordinator

The Logistics Co-ordinator is responsible for order processing and timely shipping of all sales orders received. In particular but not exclusively, this will involve entering the sales orders into opera and raising all the necessary export documentation required for shipping. Please note this role will be dealing with Commercial Shipping, not freight forwarding.

. Entering Sales Orders

. Raising delivery notes for picking orders on relevant warehouse

. Providing packing & shipping instructions to warehouse & freight forwarder

. Co-ordinating collection of shipments from warehouse via freight fowarder

. Raising all necessary export documentation, CEI, Packing List, CofO, Certificates of Conformity.

. Advising customers of shipping details and forwarding necessary documentation

. Responsible for obtaining POD''s for all shipments and filing accordingly

. Organising pre-shipment inspections and dealing with inspection agency

. Dealing with the banks with regards to Letters of Credits

. Dealing with the factories in China, Thailand and Egypt

. Preparing shipments of components to the Contract Manufacturers

. Checking the sales order book daily

. Updating dates from the PO summary

. Entering information onto freight spreadsheet

. Dealing with freight quotes

Hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with an hour for lunch.

All candidates should be able to work on their own and with small teams. They must be confident entering information onto a computer. They will report to the Logistics Manager.
