Job Title: Stock control / Production Admin
Location: Leicester LE2
Salary: £22K-£24K
The Company
The Production / stock merchandiser role covers the management, and communication with all internal / external stake holders.
By using the current production / inventory control system (NAV), the objective is to achieve the most efficient and cost-effective process, generate and present updated and timely information reports to senior management, and manage re-order levels as to be in a position of NOOS (never out of stock).
The Role
Effective and proactive communication with Internal / external stakeholders
Manage inventory availability levels by updating NAV to the business.
On time purchase order placement aligning agreed pricing / lead time, to achieve the agreed stock levels,
Preparation / maintenance of any critical path, and key dates and milestones from purchase order issues dates to final delivery
To review the logistics coordination / consolidation with vendors
Update shipment sample receiving from Vendors, booking in, and approval / rejection information from Quality Control to vendors for shipment authorisation.
Co-ordination and management with Vendors and business partners on PO placements, logistics and on time delivery into 3rd party warehouses, finance, and customer queries on deliveries / invoices. Coordinate seasonal forecast using NAV and excel sheets from private label brands to vendors to support planning.
Create, maintain and mange customer critical paths to ensure that deadlines are met.
Coordination on pre-shipment samples with vendors / Internal warehouse and Quality Control, as it relates to future shipments.
Coordination with vendors of packing lists / invoicing for on time delivery
Managing / updating all our internal Nav systems regarding delivery for stake holder visibility
Managing and communicating chargeback process and procedure to specific vendors for Quality Control issues
The Candidate
Good attitude in communication and organisational skills, confident communicating directly with all Internal / external key stakeholders.
Organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise using NAV.
Fully conversant with stock managements and production control monitoring systems (e.g. - NAV / SAP / MRP / ERP or similar), experience in Microsoft Excel / Power Point, and can review and request, in detail, potential changes that will give further benefits to all business users
Strong analytical skills and comfortable analysing data, driving change / upgrades when required
