School Science Technician
Birmingham
Starting November 2021
LTF Recruitment are currently working with an "Outstanding" School in Birmingham, who are looking for a Science Technician to get started with them after October Half Term (November 2021)
The role itself will be a temporary role to begin with, and there is a possibility of going permanent for the right candidate
This is a great opportunity for an experienced School Science Technician to share their knowledge and expertise in order to help drive the science department forward.
It is essential that you have relevant science technician experience and can carry out some of the following duties:
- Supporting both candidates and science teachers throughout the day
- Setting up the apparatus safely
- Take a proactive approach to work
- Organised and knowledge of the relevant health and safety regulations
- Able to manage the stock control of chemicals and equipment
- Ensure that equipment is properly cleaned and that chemicals and other materials are appropriately stored
