The Role- 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a strong 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to supporting a student in Year 5 who has severe Autism and challenging behaviour. As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant you will need to build a strong relationship with the student in order to gain trust and commitment. Creativity is key as you will need to find ways to help engage with learning. Someone who is team teach trained or has experience with physical intervention would be ideal for this role.

The School- ASD School

Based in Harrow with just over 90 students, this school believe every child has a voice and ensure that they are all heard. They also work with a wide range of specialists such as therapists, health professionals and family support to ensure all pupils reach their full potential. They were recently rated ''Good'' by Ofsted and teaching independency is a high priority in this ASD School.
