Job Description

The Education Specialists (TES) are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school based in the Manchester area. The school has received a "Good" Ofsted rating and has a welcoming and communal ethos. The school are seeking somebody who is an enthusiastic to join their RE department. The school is a city centre school with a strong ethos of equality and diversity, they school are seeking a enthusiastic character to become a key member of their department.

We are seeking a qualified teacher of English who has experience delivering and assessing all aspects of Key Stage 3 & 4. The school are seeking a enthusiastic Teacher to join their department and hit the ground running. You will be expected to plan and prepare your lesson plans but will be allocated PPA time throughout your week to accommodate to this.

This role would be a great step for a ECT or a Teacher who is keen to source a role in an established department and to work part of a successful team. The school has high aim for their pupils and wants a teacher who is passionate about increasing pupil attainment.

Candidate will be required to work in partnership with TA''s and other members of the department to contribute to the overall success of the pupils

Candidates will be responsible for;

* Planning and delivering of engaging lessons

* Assessment of pupils

* Report writing

* Direction of teaching assistants/learning support

* Attendance at parents evening and other meeting as required

* Classroom/Behaviour management in line with school policies and procedures

Candidates must hold Qualified Teacher Status/ QTLS or equivalent and have experience teaching in UK secondary schools.

The school will consider and urge for applications from Newly Qualified Teachers.

Candidates must be able to fully commit to the full time role which commences November 2021. The contract will be for a minimum of two term therefore candidates must be available up to April 2022 .

Candidates will be required to hold an enhanced DBS disclosure and will be subject to safeguarding checks.
