Would you like to work with some of the finest Special Education Needs (SEN) Teachers, Psychologists and Therapists in Surrey''s PRUs and SEN schools?

Schools for vulnerable students are very much still open and operational and we are actively recruiting for opportunities in Learning Support for immediate start.

Working in a class based environment to support some of the most vulnerable children in Surrey, who have been through significant trauma. Empathy and patience are key in this role - the seeds you plant to aid students in their behaviour will often not be apparent, as you will be contributing to what is a long process. There are no magic answers or miracle cures.

Children in the school present with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH) often struggling to manage their emotions and behaviour and as a result, they find it difficult to make and sustain relationships with adults and peers.

These difficulties may present as withdrawal and isolation, as well as challenging, disruptive or other concerning behaviour. These children often struggle to engage in a learning environment, frequently display inappropriate behaviour and therefore benefit from additional support in order to achieve their potential.

This is the kind of role that will give you the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and build up a portfolio of work and outstanding experience for further career development.
