Role Details - Talent Acquisition Partner
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join a dynamic team based in Birmingham. A candidate with a background in Technology would be advantageous.

You will work closely with hiring managers and be responsible for:
- Sourcing and pre-screening suitable candidates
- Managing the recruitment process
- Coaching and mentoring an apprentice into an In-house Recruiter role.

Role Duties of Talent Acquisition Partner:
* Ensure the hiring manager has followed the recruitment requisition process and the role is approved.
* Obtain a job description for the vacancy, assisting with market insight where appropriate.
* Meet with the hiring manager, develop an understanding of their requirements and create a recruitment plan.
* Create engaging job advertisements and decide on effective recruitment platforms to use.
* Source appropriate candidates for the role, using the methods agreed in the recruitment plan, including internal recruitment, referrals, advertising on social media, head hunting and attending events.
* Support the hiring manager by scheduling interviews, administering and providing feedback on psychometric assessments and providing the candidate with helpful content and constructive feedback.
* Ensure that offers of employment are improved
* Training hiring managers on recruitment best practice, where appropriate.

Role skills:

* Previous experience and track record of successfully resourcing either Sales or Technical roles preferably within an IT/Technology environment.
* Experience of conducting competency-based interviews.
* Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems.
* Knowledge of Employment Law e.g. Equal Opportunities etc.
* Good Microsoft Office skills
