Job Description

Central Employment are working with a leading Healthcare & Pharma manufacturing organisation as they look to appoint an HR Administrator, operating on an ongoing basis.

Purpose of the HR Administrator:

To assist and provide comprehensive support within all areas of the HR team in the administration of Human Resources throughout the full employee lifecycle to ensure the function is streamlined, efficient, timely and accurate and supports the achievement of HR objectives.

Key Responsibilties:

* To assist with the general day-to-day activities of the HR team and carrying out other administrative activities as directed.

* Provide first line advice on HR processes and act as a reception point for all internal staff

* To assist with maintaining accurate and orderly data and records electronically in relation to employee details, absence records, ensuring that information held within the HR Information Management System is both accurate and up-to-date at any given time.

* To take telephone calls in a timely and professional manner and field calls as required, ensuring that messages are passed on promptly and accurately.

* Support with COVID initiatives including providing advice and guidance to employees and managers around actions to be taken and tracking all COVID related absence.

* Any other general routine, administrative duties as required.

* Provide employee/managers information regarding pension process

* Provide guidance on employee benefits

* Liaise with payroll on changes to benefits charges

* Work with external providers on any visa/immigration issues. (admin only)

* General admin queries from managers

Experience required:

* Ability to exercise discretion in dealing with confidential or sensitive matters.

* Experience of using an electronic information management system.

* Proven administration/organisational skills and ability to work in a logical manner.

* High level of attention to detail and ability to produce a consistent level of accurate information.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Good team player.

* Competent with standard IT packages eg Excel, Word, Outlook.

* Resilient, resourceful, pragmatic and energetic.
