Construction Commercial Manager

2BM Recruitment Ltd are working in partnership with our manufacturing client in Leeds to recruit for a Construction Commercial Manager on a full-time permanent basis. Your Pay & Benefits:

Construction Commercial Manager offering a starting salary from £55k to £70k per annum, (negotiable depending on skills and experience) Plus Benefits including 31 days holiday (inc bank holidays) Increasing to 33 with service, Healthcare, Pension, On-site gym, Parking and Modern facilities with excellent transport links. Full time permanent opportunity working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.

Job Details:

As a Construction Commercial Manager, you will have the following responsibilities.

* Oversee day to day commercial operations including costing, pricing, and profitability strategies to ensure profitability of projects.

* Identify opportunities for the continued grow of the business whilst building strong relationships with clients and suppliers.

* Negotiate and approve contracts within the supply chain.

* Maximise business opportunities through coordinating bids to win new projects and ensuring customer satisfaction that will promote repeat business.

* Identify systems and processes to develop and enhance the business.

* Maintain sustainable and productive relationships with existing clients, whilst improving the company''s financial and overall performance.

* Identifying and taking guidance on any contractual issues to mitigate business risk.

* Ensuring company targets and objectives are accomplished.

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills / qualifications / attributes:

As a Construction Commercial Manager, you will be a dynamic individual with an ability to develop strategic partnerships that provides an opportunity to focus on a different aspect of MMC delivery, from cost and productivity, to safety, wastage and build quality. You will have worked in a similar role and experienced within the Construction Industry including Steel Fixings, Brick Slip Systems, Facades, Cladding and Curtain Walling and have knowledge of traditional construction and off-site manufacturing sectors. Candidates should be astute professionals with strong financial, analytical, man management and project management skills. You will have excellent communication skills with strong people skills and be highly motivated with an appetite to succeed.
