Role Overview:

A new vacancy for a Quality Assessor with leading UK provider of technical services to clients in the Construction industry. As a key member of the Quality Assurance team, the Quality Plans Assessor will be responsible for collating and reviewing the company''s surveillance audit reports (for Quality), and then updating them on the in-house system.

Role Purpose:

The role of the Quality Assessor is to review and address all (with support from Project Managers and / or Quality Assurance Team) of the incoming surveillance reports in relation to factory surveillance audits, update the Quality Plans and other relevant documentation on time, in support of the company''s factory surveillance. The job holder will be expected to ensure the audit reports are reviewed for quality and updated in the system, address the findings to a satisfactory outcome (including technical support from others as required) and to update and Reissue the Quality Plan(s) to A&I in advance of the next scheduled audit.

Key Responsibilities:

Collate, and review and rate the company''s audit reports; determine the level of findings and address the findings to a satisfactory outcome. Input from relevant technical personnel should be sought where necessary, on a case specific basis, but it is expected the that post holder''s technical knowledge will grow over time leading to an increased independence.
Ensure Major Non-Conformities are addressed by the relevant technical staff and updates are provided in a timely manner to enable the QP update.
Chase clients for any outstanding evidence in relation to the findings of the audit so that all information required to conclude the findings are received within reasonable timescales.
Maintain the Logs up to date and carry out Quality Plan updates in line with the outcome of the audit reports. Essential Requirements:

At least 1yrs experience in Quality Assurance role that has involved dealing with QA audits or factory inspection/surveillance reports.
Willingness to develop good practical level of engineering / scientific knowedge.
Good basic understanding of auditing and inspection/surveillance processes
