Experienced Store Manager required for a flagship Garden Centre

Our client is an established independent business who have Garden Centres across the UK and represent a new wave of specialist horticultural and leisure retailers who are committed to offering best quality products and service as a matter of course. They are looking for an experienced Retail / Garden Centre Manager in the Kidderminster / Bromsgrove area to join the team.

Gardening today is a wide ranging activity from real enthusiasts who grow specialist plants to families for whom the garden is an outdoor room to decorate and furnish in their own style. We understand the different needs of our customers so offer a wide range of gardening products from tools and watering equipment to garden furniture, BBQ''s and outdoor leisure wear.

Managers play a key role in the business, as well as being inspirational leaders they are focused on developing a sales and service based culture in order to exceed customer expectations. They have full autonomy for the running of the operation and are encouraged to suggest ideas and opportunities for overall improvement.

We are looking for candidates who offer excellent commercial skills combined with fantastic product knowledge and a ''hands-on'' approach when it comes to coaching and developing staff. You will be passionate about meeting customer and company expectations, demonstrate a clear understanding of the sector and most of all be a leader who inspires and motivates others.
