SIA Licenced Security Officer North Wales

Are you a SIA Licensed Officer looking for a new opportunity?

SGC Security Services are hiring SIA Licensed Officers for Security Roles to work as part of a team for Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. Due to the nature of the contract, you must hold a valid SIA DS licence and have at least 1 years experience.

You must be polite, well presented, well spoken, friendly and yet assertive as you will be required to interact with the general public, NHS staff and vulnerable patients.

The role will involve lots of patrolling by foot and standing for long periods of time, therefore you must be physically fit to undertake these duties. You will need excellent communication & report writing skills to assist you with your day-to-day duties to deliver excellent guarding and security services in accordance with contract requirements.

The role will involve checking patients'' appointments and or reason for entering the Hospital, ensuring patients sanitise their hands and are wearing a mask. These tasks are to be completed both on Main Hospital sites at Bangor, Glan Clwyd and Wrexham Maelor as well at the temporary hospital/vaccination centres at Llandudno, Bangor, and Deeside.

Duties may include but not limited to: -

Patrols
Fire Safety Checks
Report Writing
Access Control/checking appointments letters
Ensuring all staff and visitors to the Trust adhere to the Government Guidelines for Covid 19
Ensure all visitors change their mask on entry and offer hand sanitiserWe would welcome applicants with the following skills; Security, Security Officer, SIA, Door, Communication, Customer Service, Customer Facing, NHS, Guarding, Patrol, Door Supervisor, Hospital, Fire Warden, Access Control, Reporting.
