Band 8C at £45.53 per hour (Inside IR35)- Rate negotiable dependant on experience

I am partnering with a large Acute NHS Trust in the North West of England who is looking for support of a Senior operational lead for a 6 month initial assignment, which could potentially extend. This role will be to provide senior managerial leadership for operational performance of the Surgical Directorates, delivering a range of outcomes, to ensure that care is delivered in a safe and effective way.

Your duties as Deputy Divisional Director of Operations:

Provide senior managerial leadership for operational performance of the Surgical Directorates
Delivering a range of outcomes, to ensure that care is delivered in a safe and effective way and that all performance targets are met within specified resources
Provide leadership to the Divisional transformation programme, streamlining patient pathways and increasing productivity and efficiency
Actively support the service improvement into everyday practice of the division
Deputise for the Divisional Director of Operations as required
Professional develop the current substantive Operational team

Experience needed as Deputy Divisional Director of Operations:

Senior operational lead with a background delivering against Elective care
Ability to communicate in a responsive and inclusive manner, focusing on improvement and ways to move forward
Must be a self starter and understand the landscape of the business and conflicting needs across partners
Vast experience in meeting performance targets e.g 18 weeks RTT, cancer targets
Reliable and driven to organisational change
Available references for most recent 2 year''s roles.
