Job Description
We are currently recruiting an Interim Deputy Divisional Director of Operations for the Medicine Division for a period of 3 months in Brighton.
The Medicine Division provides a range of clinical services including accident & emergency, acute and ambulatory medicine, care of the elderly, respiratory, diabetes and endocrine, dermatology, infectious diseases, sexual health and contraception and HIV. The Division employs around 2000 clinical, management and administrative staff and has an annual budget of £64.9m.
As Deputy Director of Operations for Medicine your worker will support the Director of Operations in managing and delivering all aspects of operational and financial performance within the division, including the A&E standards, RTT and cancer targets, and the division''s 22/23 efficiency programme.
You must have a proven track record of delivering efficient and effective clinical services in an acute hospital setting, with demonstrable experience of delivering organisational change, and a good understanding of lean management and continuous improvement practices.
