Water Hygiene Engineer/Plumber

Job Description

Plumber required for water hygiene/legionella control works, covering the North of England from Manchester up to and including Scotland, with a small amount of work in the Scotland area.
City & Guilds Level 2 plumbing qualification required as a minimum.
Tasks will include dead leg/dead end removal, replacement of flexible hoses to copper, upgrading cold water storage tanks in regards to insulation, fitting of lid and/or lid vents, fitting of screened overflows. An unvented G3 certificate will be an advantage for this role however we can also put you through this course if you have the relevant City & Guilds Level 2 in plumbing qualification, as would the experience and qualifications for RPZ valve maintenance, installation and replacement, although this is not essential. Successful candidate will also be required to perform cold water tank cleaning, system disinfections and water sampling.
Occasional hotel stop overs will be required from time to time and these are paid for by the business. Ability to work in a team, as well as on your own will be required, and candidates must have good organisational skills, as well as being able to compile clear & informative works reports.
Candidates will be expected to be organised, reliable, responsible for maintaining stock levels in vans of commonly used fittings etc
A company van (inc personal use), fuel card (business use only), uniform, all the necessary equipment to fulfil your role.
£28,000-£34,000 per annum & 23 days paid holiday
