We are the UK''s only remaining large-scale manufacturer of ceramic tiles, looking to appoint a Communications Manager to join our team. The core function of the role is to oversee the scope, planning, publication and management of content for the business''s internal and external communications channels.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of a Communications Manager include, but are not limited to:

Own the company''s social media channels using a social media management platform

Identify opportunities to grow social media following and engagement across all Johnson Tiles platforms
Respond to social media queries, messages, and comments in a timely manner
Manage collaborations with social media influencers
Create visuals for social media posts and liaise with the Design team Photographer/Videographer to do so
Create and publish content across the different platforms
Report on social media performance

Keep up to date with social media best practices and news
Collaborate to curate and create content for the company newsletter
Create and publish content for the internal communications screens
Proofread, edit, update, and create copy for literature across the business including, but not limited to product descriptions, company brochures, blog posts, news articles, external presentations
Attend company events and create content for publication on social media channels and website
Publish blog posts and news articles to the websites through a CMS system
Work with Sales team and Photographer/Videographer to identify and progress customer case studies/testimonials for publication on the website
Act as digital content support for Material Lab
Create content to support marketing campaigns and manage a third-party agency to do so
Manage the delivery of work from third-party agency
Work with agency to create content for PR opportunities
Create campaigns for email marketing in line with business strategy and distribute to multiple audiences
Occasionally work from the London-based Material Lab studio
Support with the delivery of marketing plans
Manage Trustpilot reviews
Manage CPD requests through RIBA platform and direct to the Sales team
Assist with preparation of materials and stands for launches, events and exhibitions as required
Occasional field visits with the Sales team to facilitate commercial understanding

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Communications Manager:

Understanding of social media trends and latest news
Experience with CMS systems
Familiarity with Adobe packages e.g. Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat
Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel
