The Person:

The successful individual should be driven, tenacious and have strong communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish good working relationships with people at all levels. The preferred candidate should also possess:

2years+ experience within a competitive sales environment.
Proven track record of achievement and ability to sell.
A strong desire to sell in an FMCG business.
Strong interpersonal skills.
A strong ambition to succeed.
Willingness to travel and work in a large geographical area.
A Full Driving Licence.
Knowledge and experience of the Pet industry would be an advantage.Role title: Territory Sales Manager - You will manage a set of around 50 live spending customers in the South West region. These will be pet shops, farm shops, independent pet retailers. You will work and sell to pet shop owners, retail staff and managers in store to introduce and cross sell their other brands. You will also be looking to identify and open new relationships with retailers who don''t use your brand or are new the trade and looking to stock a bird care range. There will also be some key accounts in this region with more demanding buyers.

Products you will sell: Pet products includes bird feeders, bird nuts, seeds and bird boxes. They have a huge presence in this sector and are number one in this market. You will look to achieve £500k + of turnover in your area in the year. This is a big and high performing region for the business with lots of opportunities and some key account within it.

Car, mobile, laptop, pension, 25 days leave plus BH Territory - This Territory Manager role will cover the South West of the UK and is home based but daily travel to see customers in your territory
