Are you a Registered Nurse / HCPC professional with Governance Management Experience?

Compass Associates are working with a valued client and specialist health care provider with multiple hospitals across Tunbridge wells and East Sussex. This provider is recognised as a specialist in Orthopaedics, Physiotherapy, Cosmetic Surgery and Ophthalmology.

We are looking for an Experienced health care professional with previous experience working in Clinical Governance who can work closely alongside the chief nurse acting as an advisor and overseeing major governance and safety projects.

Job Responsibilities:

- To support the Chief Nurse in designing, implementing, monitoring and co-ordinating all aspects of Quality Governance, including risk management and assurance functions.
- Ensure that systems and processes are in place for continuous improvement, compliance monitoring and response Working in collaboration with the divisional managers and risk / safety leads ensuring that divisional and corporate systems are well established, properly aligned and effective.
- Provide professional and expert risk and assurance advice at all levels and ensuring that dynamic and effective risk registers and risk escalation systems are in place, including the production and co-ordinating of a range of risk performance and assurance repo
- The post holder will coordinate and oversee the management of the HH Risk Register working directly with the Executive Directors to ensure that these remain up to date and effective.
- Management of the governance team, health & safety and infection control and is accountable for the delivery, reporting and operational management of the annual clinical audit cycle across the organisation.

Candidate Background:

- Registered nurse or HCPC Registered professional
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the management of significant incidents
- Previous experience of managing complaints
- Previous experience of working in a senior clinical role within quality, and patient safety.
- Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies including clinical audit

Location
