Procurement Specialist

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist who has a high level of experience within a Procurement or Commercial role, with proven examples of agreeing terms and conditions , managing contractual compliance issues and delivering, performance improvement to work at the leading aerospace manufacture in Yeovil. This position will be supporting UK and International divisions of the business.

As a Procurement Specialist you would be responsible for the following:

Owner of a number of commodity types and act as primary interface between the business and suppliers
Lead negotiation of contracts with suppliers
Support new customer bids, managing new supplier sourcing and selection as required
Manage the contractual aspects of arrangements, new and existing
Negotiate appropriate contractual frame works (to include Terms and Conditions/pricing and support requirements) We would welcome CVs from candidates who have experience of working within Procurement within an aerospace of similar sector such as Engineering or Manufacturing. This is an ongoing temporary position which will involve some working from home. They offer a 37 hour week and hours are flexible as long as the core hours are worked. As a Procurement Specialist you will be working within an established Procurement department and the site offers a canteen and kitchen facilities along with free parking
