Job Description
An amazing opportunity has arisen to work as a Sales Assistant for a well-known Jewellers in Scarborough. This is an exciting opportunity for a bubbly individual who is well presented and has a passion for delivering excellent customer service! This would suit someone ideally, (but not essential), from the jewellery industry who wants to work for a recognised brand and who has the confidence and personality to add value to their business or will have an interest in the jewellery industry or experience already in this business would be even better!
This is a unique position offering variety and responsibility; thus they are looking for someone with good attention to detail, excellent communication skills, strong organisation skills and people skills. The successful candidate will need to be able to effectively manage their day as well as work alongside and support other team members.
The ideal candidate:
Will be educated to at least ''A'' level standard and have a desire to learn about this industry and take further qualifications where necessary. The client offers excellent working conditions plus a pension scheme, very good staff discount and clothing allowance. This is a full-time role to includes alternative weekend work and excellent prospects
They are looking for individuals with previous retail experience ideally in jewellery or selling high-end goods to the consumer market. The company is a well-established business with extremely high standards and therefore all candidates need to be professional with excellent presentation skills and be able to communicate at all levels comfortably.
An ideal candidate if not from the jewellery industry must be passionate about delivering excellent customer experience and must be extremely professional & presentable and ideally looking for a long-term career opportunity rather than just a job!
You must possess good IT skills and be confident using Microsoft Office. Experience using an EPOS system would be an advantage
The company is offering:
¢ This is a full-time permanent opportunity
¢ Hours: 9 am to 5:30 pm - Monday to Saturday (with a day off during the week to be agreed with the manager).
