Service Coordinator

Do you have experience in coordinating service work?

Our Client is a Global Impact Tech Company committed to solving society''s problems. They offer workflow solutions and products to customers in drug discovery and development, analytical testing and water and environmental testing, - they are now seeking a Service Coordinator to join their existing team on a permanent basis.

In a team of two, you will be responsible for scheduling our team of Field Service Engineers, planning, organising, and prioritising their work, where consideration must be given to both the customer and engineers'' geographical location, engineers'' skills and availability. You will also be responsible for maintaining our customer and equipment database, invoicing work on completion.

Their customers span a broad range of market segments, including: pharmaceutical, biotech, contract research & manufacturers, clinical, forensic and academic laboratories, and organisations focused on food safety, clean water and environmental sustainability.

Your work will involve:

* Handling incoming enquires and requests from our customers in a timely manner
* Coordinating service work, ensuring it is conducted within a given timescale
* Opening and closing work orders and invoicing customers for work carried out
* Handling back-office administration, keeping our asset management system updated
* Handling and resolving customer complaints

The successful candidate for this role will have:

* Experience as an office-based Coordinator of teams of service engineers
* Professional phone manner with exemplary customer service skills
* Communication skills to deal with a diverse group of customers and colleagues
* Excellent spoken and written English
* Great organisational skills, thorough and structured with an eye for detail
* The ability to multitask and follow processes
* Ability to use initiative
* IT literacy (knowledge of Salesforce/ServiceMax would be advantageous)
