About our Client

They provide branding and information labelling solutions, including pressure-sensitive materials, radio-frequency identification (RFID) inlays and tags, and a variety of converted products and solutions. They design and manufacture a wide variety of labelling and functional materials that enhance branded packaging, carry or display information that connects the physical and the digital and improve customers'' product performance.

They lead in serving a vast array of industries worldwide, including home and personal care, apparel, e-commerce, logistics, food and grocery, pharmaceuticals and automotive.

Salary:

£23,000 per annum
Overtime paid at 1.5 hourly rate after 36.25 hours per week
5% local bonus plan - paid once annually, combination of business performance and personal performance. Pro-rated for first year upon hire date.

Hours: Monday to Friday 08.00am - 4.00pm

Location: The role is based in Wooburn Green, high Wycombe HP10

Key responsibilities & duties

Working on the use and development of our new automated printing machine, this is a new project and the ideal candidate will have an interest in the printing and garment decoration industry. The new machine is a first for our client so there will be a need to be able to test, retest and log results, identify and record any issues as well as the day to day running of the service.

Key tasks will be:

Following order Production Sheet
Liaison with Customer Service team on orders and deadlines
Loading machine with letters, restocking as necessary
Packing and labelling finished article
Keeping machine clean and perform basic maintenance tasks
Keeping environment for machine impeccably clean - ''white glove operation''
Check quality of finished product before dispatch
Update of Production Schedules through Google Suite
Transfer of Technical Knowledge, formally in documentation and hands on training for other members of staff
Troubleshooting and reporting faults
Responsible for establishing mechanical inspection and preventive maintenance regimes.

There will be a requirement to support the warehouse team when machine orders are low, these tasks will include:

Picking, packing and preparing goods for dispatch (UK & Export)
Preparing necessary dispatch paperwork (UK & Export)
Understanding of Import and Export procedures to ensure correct paperwork is supplied with goods
Working with Oracle order management system to release stock and generate necessary paperwork
Inventory/stock control
Liaison with Customer Service and Sales teams to respond to queries and keep teams informed of progress
Customisation of shipments according to customer specific requirements, including the construction of custom-made retail packs
Actively contributing to, and participating in, continuous improvement initiatives
Adhering to Health and Safety rules - it is every worker''s responsibility to ensure that the health and safety procedures are followed, and to monitor the safety of their work area
General housekeeping - They pride itself on its clean working environment, and team members are responsible for ensuring that the department is kept clean and tidy

Minimum qualifications, experience and Academic qualifications:

Ideally the candidate will have previous machine operating experience
Full training will be provided onsite
Computer Literate
