Tool Store Operative

Tool Store Operative required for our client based in Mansfield, the company is a multi-national organisation, manufacturing specialist equipment for a variety of key market sectors.

This position, within the engineering team, is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of the machine shop.

Primary functions include :

* Issue & build tooling kits to works order route cards.

* Liaise with the Shift Leader and Deputy Shift Lead to ensure cutting tools are supplied on time to the machines.

* Keep control of cutting tool stock and raise awareness to Shift Leader and Deputy when minimum quantities are reached.

* Control and allocate thread gauges to works orders

* Create tooling kits on the Zoller tool pre-setter to match tool lists created by the Programming Department.

* Re-stock used tooling back into the vending machine

* Ensure the Tooling Room is clean and tidy, by conducting daily housekeeping.
