Technical Assistant
Salary: Up to £25,000
Our client who operates across the world are looking for an experienced Technical assistant to join their team urgently! This is a great opportunity for you who has experience within a food environment as well as HACCP or Food Safety.

Technical Assistant''s Role:
* Completion of customer format specifications.
* Response to enquiries on applications and specifications.
* Sourcing and supply of customer samples.
* Assessment of returned supplier questionnaires.
* Recording and investigation of customer complaints.
* Complaint summaries and trending reports.
* Daily check and monitoring of quarantined stock in the warehouse.
* Development and issue of K&B format specifications.
* Issue of short format specifications.
* HACCP, Food Safety, Equipment and other internal audits, Calibration, Glass & rigid plastic audits.
* Routine product analysis.
* Life extensions for products nearing end of life.
* Organoleptic assessment of new & existing products.
Technical Assistant criteria:
* HACCP Level 2 & 3
* Background in Food Manufacturing is essential
* Internal Auditor advantageous
* Previously worked as an Internal auditor, Technical Officer, Compliance Officer or QA Essential
Working hours: 8 AM - 5 PM Monday- Thursday, 4pm on Friday there will need to be a degree of flexibility
