Job Type - Permanent/Part-Time

Location - Lincoln

Hours - 31.5 hours per week

Salary - £17,129.70 (including £1300 Unsociable Hours Benefit pro rata)

Additional hours might be available as we run 9 x 24/7 services across the county giving you the opportunity to act as cover across the other services when needed, for example to cover sickness and training sessions.

The Youth Housing service in Lincolnshire supports 16-17 year olds and care leavers including Young Parents up to 21 years old who are homeless or are threatened with homelessness, to live independently.

Through devising a person centred support package we enable the young people we work with to have new experiences and develop skills to become independent in order to make a positive contribution to society. Who are we looking for:

We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and motivated individuals who will provide night time security to young people, aged 16 - 21.

The successful Night Security Manager will need experience of managing overnight security, in a residential housing project for excluded groups, including vulnerable/young people. Experience of monitoring CCTV systems and managing health and safety issues is also desirable.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Implement night security systems, ensuring overall safety and security of the housing service and respond to faults as discovered.

· Patrol the geographical location to maximise the safety and security of the building and service users.

· Monitor access to the services and visitors and log and report incidents and antisocial behaviour.

· Monitor CCTV systems throughout your shift.

· Escalate incidents to on call services where needed.

· Maintain written records e.g. incidents, handover, support or risk plans.
