Davies Turner has an exciting opportunity for a Customs Clearance Operator to join their team based in Coleshill.

Location: Coleshill (B46 1DA)

Salary: £19,000 - £23,000 depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Customs Clearance Operations - The Role:

We have a vacancy within our Customs Clearance department for a Customs Clearance Operator. This interesting role entails co-ordinating and liaising with Customs Authorities on behalf of Davies Turner, administering all freight requiring customs clearance whilst complying with all necessary controls and HMC formalities and procedures, including bonded stock.

Customs Clearance Operations - You:

- Willingness to learn new systems

- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills

- A self-starter and driven

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to build a rapport with Customs and Davies Turner colleagues

- Experience in a Customs environment, beneficial but not essential, as full training will be given

- Knowledge of CFSP / CNS / Destin8 / Seqouia systems would be an advantage although not essential

- GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)

In addition, you''ll also need the right to work in the UK - we are not able to sponsor work permits.
