Nurse / Flight Nurse

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Global Assistance and Travel Risk company who have a fantastic position for a Registered Nurse to join them as a Medical Case Manager / Flight Nurse in their offices based in Farnham.

This is a fantastic position for a nurse with 4+ years acute nursing experience looking to take their next step in a challenging and rewarding role to provide medical care on a global basis.

Within this role you will work alongside the Medical Assistance Coordinators providing advise and support to customers requiring medical care whilst travelling overseas on a holiday. This role will include ongoing management of assistance cases, liaising with medical staff on a global basis, ensuring treatment being received is medically appropriate, give medical advice regarding evacuations and repatriation decisions.

There is also the option to also undertake repatriation work, you can pick up a minimum of 1 shift per month or more - your choice! This is fab addition to your role and an additional payment will be made depending on how many flights you do on your days off.

Hours - 10 hr days Mon to Fri (Apply online only)hrs) and an 8 hr day on Sat (Apply online only)hrs) with a one hour break each day. Approx. 11 shifts per month.

Experience -

Up to date validation of your NMC pin

Recent Acute Care experience - at least 4 years is desirable

Experience in a specialist area such as ICU, HDU, CCU or A&E is desirable
