Estimator

Fawkes & Reece South are working with an established regional contractor that are seeking an Estimator. They work in collaboration with various clients on projects worth up to £5m. Their projects are located along coasts, rivers etc, with a scope of works that includes dredging, flood defence, revetments & waterway maintenance.

Your role will be to take tenders from initial enquiries through to tender handover. You will be involved in (but not limited to):

Dealing with tender enquiries

Producing take-offs from drawings

Obtaining materials and subcontractor rates

Creating tender and delivery programmes

Ensuring that tenders are properly reviewed before submission

Providing clear and informative data for use in meetings and reviews

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

Degree-qualified or equivalent, but with appropriate experience and knowledge

Experience tendering for civil engineering or infrastructure projects

Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK

Any candidates who have worked as a Site Engineer or similar roles are encouraged to apply
