QC Configuration Operative

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join TMT First, a Staffordshire award winning fast-growing technology company based in Newcastle under Lyme, in a full time, permanent, Quality Control and Configuration Operative role.

Duties include using software and manual processes to functionally test and grade the cosmetic condition of a range of mobile devices including smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and buds. You will work with our team of quality control operatives, dedicated to ensuring all our devices are checked to an industry leading standard before they are dispatched to our customers.

At a time where it is more urgent than ever to reverse climate change, TMT First has a clear goal to ''Keep Technology Alive for Longer''. This means accurately assessing devices so we can add value and allow them to be reused or responsibly recycled.

Experience in Quality Control or Mobile device Configuration is advantageous but not necessary as full training will be provided considering you can demonstrate:

You are a quick learner
An ability to follow technical instructions
You have a keen eye for detail and quality
An ability to use a computer and MS Office applications
A strong work ethic & desire to succeed

This is an interesting and varied role which requires flexibility to assist different areas of the Operations team.

Usual Working Hours: 37.5 hours, 08:30-17:00. 5 days out of 7 with some Saturday working required on a rota basis. (Part Time 16-20hrs)

Salary: £21,900 OTE
