Head Hunted Recruitment are proud to be working exclusively with an award winning business, the largest in their sector and boasting a strong market presence the company are in the process of adding to their already strong team by bringing in an experienced and knowledgeable National Account Manager.

As National Account Manager you will be joining a successful and dynamic family-owned business based in Norfolk. With big plans for the future the National Account Manager will be an integral part of the team and will work towards the company continuing to grow their market leadership position with uncompromising quality, innovative design and inspiring, award-winning products that continue to inspire.

The National Account Manager will manage existing portfolio of accounts, whilst constantly looking for new business opportunities in existing and new customers. You will be at the heart of the business and be responsible for maximising revenue and profitability as part of the National Account department.

National Account Manager Job Responsibilities:

Reporting into the Senior National Account Manager, the National Account Manager will be responsible for growth of specified retailers within the UK Garden & DIY market

Develop existing customers, whilst looking to bring on board and grow new business

Identify promotional opportunities which will lead to enhanced business, whilst maintaining profitability

The role requires occasional international travel and attendance at key national trade shows

Support all other aspects of the business as required.

National Account Manager Skills and Experience:

You will ideally have experience within a branded consumer goods or FMCG business, ideally in the Garden sector or comparable consumer goods.

Strong and demonstrable track record of developing new business.

Driven, tenacious, commercially savvy and keen to succeed

Advanced Excel skills

Experience of working in non-food in a National Accounts or Business Development focused role.

Hunter approach to new business.

Excellent relationship builder.

Keen administration skills

Attention to detail

Ability to work flexibly between roles and under pressure
