£75k-£85k plus equity options/profit share - OTE Year 2 = £120k, OTE Year 3 = £180k

Our client is a highly reputable fit-out contractor who have built up an excellent reputation in the industry over the last 10 years. One of the Directors is planning on making an exit in the next 3-5 years, so there is an opportunity for an ambitious Project/Operations Manager to come in, help the business continue its upwards trajectory and then take over a large equity share once certain targets are hit.

Initially your main responsibilities will be those of a typical Senior Project Manager. You will be helping run projects, overseeing P&L for each scheme, and taking overall control of the production side of the business. Once settled, you will then be expected to help the business continue its growth and use your existing network to introduce the business to more clients. As the business continues to grow and becomes more profitable, your equity options will also increase! The more business you can bring in, the more money you will make!

The role of the Senior Project Manager/Operations Manager

A Construction & Project management qualification
Experience of working on small to medium fit-out projects
Well connected and excellent reputation in the industry.
SMSTS, First Aid qualified
Good knowledge of construction Health and Safety and CDM.
Excellent organisation and IT skills and ability to maintain accurate project records (both paper and electronic)
Ability to produce formal reports and documents which clearly set out complex issues and recommendations
Proven ability to manage all Stakeholders from the construction through to planning and senior management and the ability to chair meetings)
Liaison with Architects, Designers and Structural Engineers
Manage in house site team of Dep PM. SMs, Engineers, Labourers
Manage projects in terms
Strong in setting up and implementing robust Project Management processes
Determining the optimal sequencing and timing for tasks.
Manage multiple sub-contractors and trades.
Elevate above the Day to Day demands of site and see the bigger picture.
Weekly programme reporting
Programming experience and relevant IT skills (MS Project) To be successful as a Senior Project Manager/Operations Manager, you will need to possess the following:

5 years + experience with a fit-out contractor
Degree in Construction Management or similar
