Goods In Operative

Our Established client, who have been in business for over 30 years, are providers of bespoke engineering solutions from Concept to Completion to a number off their customers in the UK and Overseas.

They specialise in stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium fabrication and use the latest CNC machinery and computer aided design software (CAD) to complete jobs to the highest possible standard.

The company''s products range from industrial stainless steel tanks to consumables for the recycling industry.

Our client have already engaged in the delivery of a wide range of high profile projects and on the back of this they have been recently awarded another major contract and thus are looking to add a Goods In Operative on a Permanent Contract.

DUTIES included for the role Goods In Operative :

Receiving and checking all deliveries against purchase orders and reporting any shortfall or part deliveries.
Ensure all stock is stored in the correct manner.
Communicate and assist Works Manager to ensure all stock is at the correct levels to keep production going.
Keep a record of and report any frequent shortages or spare items.
Carry out regular stock takes.
When required deliver/pickup any stores to and from site

KEEN TO SPEAK TO Goods In Operative with :

FLT license - C/B + Driving License
Engineering/Manufacturing Industry background.
Basic computer literacy.
Worked in a fast paced environment.

THE OFFER for the role of Stores Person :

PAYE Rate of Pay £11 per hour.
Regular Days with early finish Friday.
