A fantastic opportunity has opened up for an enthusiastic Criminology or Sociology graduate to join an ''Outstanding'' Ofsted rated 11-18 Secondary Academy in Reading. The Academy are launching a specialist behaviour provision unit for students with challenging behaviour resulting from socioeconomic traumas in their home lives, with the aim of returning them to the classroom as soon as is possible.

This mainstream Secondary Academy are seeking a Criminology or Sociology graduate with strong behaviour management skills, a compassionate ear, and excellent patience. You will have the opportunity to shadow seasoned professionals across many disciplines, such as social workers, rehabilitation officers for serious cases, and occupational therapists. You will have the chance to be trained in positive Applied Behaviour Therapy strategies to assist these children with challenging behaviour, along with a wide away of other training available.

The Role:

Behaviour Support Assistant.

ASAP Start.
Applied Behaviour Analysis.
£65-80 per day.
1 Year Contract.The successful candidate:

Excellent behaviour management skills.
Experience desirable but not necessary.
Level 3+ or Degree desired.
Available to start ASAP.
