Job Description
Role Purpose: Working within an accountancy practice, to support to the Partners and oversee the client services team. To ensure that clients are provided with an exceptional service along with ensuring the workflow process of the practice is maintained, queries are dealt with in a timely manner and that the general office management is taken care of.
We have also recently acquired a small, paper based accountancy practice so work is also needed to help integrate this practice into our current practice.
We will consider applications for full time or part time.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Provide high level technical and administrative support to the Partners
Deal effectively with queries from clients and other parties through effective communication
Manage the workflow of the practice effectively
Ensuring staff tasks are completed within deadlines set
Ensuring filing deadlines are met
To put in place and manage effective systems, processes and procedures
Develop and maintain internal relationships to help maintain business flow and meet agreed targets
Managing the new client onboarding process
Management of Partner s diaries, booking in meetings etc
Management of client records, books in and out
General office management

Able to transpose information accurately
Strong IT skills
Strong influencing skills
Confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion
Highly organised with excellent communication skills
Broad experience of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Exceptional attention to detail
Manages time effectively with the ability to multi-task
Keeps calm when faced with conflicting demands and handles these effectively
Demonstrates a positive attitude at all times
Open to change with a creative approach to problem solving
Works well on own tasks as well as on shared goals as part of a team
Always puts the client first
Experience of working in an accountancy practice or a similar role would be beneficial but not essential
