Job Description

An international organisation located in Bridgwater are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join their existing friendly department, and be responsible for Purchasing administration and order processing and assisting the Purchasing Manager in project costing. You will provide a high level of support to ensure a smooth process, working closely with the Purchasing Manager.

As Purchasing Assistant, your new role will involve:

Purchasing Administration and order processing using an EPR System
Reviewing order acknowledgements & resolving potential issues
Resolve delivery issues
Liasing with Accounts Department on payment & invoice matters
Expediting materials from suppliers ensuring on-time delivery in full to the specification required
Researching new suppliers & assisting in the development of new and existing suppliersPrevious experience in purchasing is essential for this role. Strong administrative support experience would also be considered.
As well as good communication skills and solid IT skills

Hours of work - Flexible full time hours
Salary: £21,000 - 22,000
